Crowder	Eli W. (White)	1775	1877	Ala Militia, War of 1812. According to their descendant, Buster Barker, this was his g-g-grandfather, and he and his g-g-grandmother were not buried in this cemetery, but were buried in their front yards across the road and a little east of here, where they lived. Other Crowders had been buried here, and later this veterans marker was erected to Eli W. Crowder because his original burial spot across the road had been lost to time. According to Buster, the Crowders were Choctaw Indians, and it was their custom to bury their dead in their front yards. Wyrick	Roy M	1907	February 15, 1971	Roy was born deaf and therefore never learned to speak, he also lost his sight at a young age. Roy died in Hugo house fire with his mother.
Young	Inez Jo (Driver, Bean)	September 12, 1915		Inez was the Dau. of Ethie Pearl House Driver & William Thomas Driver. Inez is not buried here. She made her own headstone, a double marker with her husband Sam, but after Sam’s death in 1975, she spent her last years in Arizona and is buried in Tucson. Children: Nova Catherine, Doris Edna, Wilma Dean, Patsy, Christine (buried here), and Larry (buried here). First husband, Fred Bean, second husband, Sam Young. Inez and Fred lived across the road and a little east of this cemetery in the 1940s and 1950s, in the old Crowder Choctaw Indian homestead house. Inez hand made cement headstones for many, many graves in this cemetery over a number of years.
