Funeral Services for Jim Clark Will be Held Here Saturday
Hugo Pioneer Died Early Friday Morning

Funeral services for Jim Clark, 46 year old pioneer of Hugo and Choctaw county resident who died at Vinita, Oklahoma, will be held at 10.30 o'clock Saturday morning in Springs Chapel church. Death came at about 3 o'clock Friday morning after an illness of several weeks duration. Interment will be made in the Springs Chapel cemetery.
Clark is survived by his wife Mrs. Mary C. Clark , three daughters ; Ruby Hulen, Easter Couch, Francis Clark; three sons, James, Jessie and Joe of Route 2, James is enrolled in CCC camp. Other survivers; one brother Bill of Los Angles , California and three sisters, Mrs. Linnie Springs also of Los Angles, California, Mrs. Denna Bushart, FT. Townson and Mrs. Fannie Gooch, Ravia, Ok.
Jim Clark was a son of old Dr. James L. Clark , a Hugo pioneer. Jim lived for many years in the city of Hugo, and had moved to the Messer Community some years ago. He was well known and liked in Hugo. He made a host of friends here in the years he was employed as deliveryman for several local business firms. The News joins with his many friends in extending our sincere sympathy to the family of the deceased. Funeral arrangements will be made by Campbell Funeral home. ( Sue Wall)
