Sherman Louie Campbell

Sherman Louie Campbell passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Medical City in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Canyon, Texas on October 5, 1933 to Norene Gray Campbell and Sherman Campbell, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Sherma Jo Campbell Lester.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra Kilgore Campbell, a granddaughter, K.D. Lester, and her father, Don Lester; a grandson, Craig Lester and his wife, Shelly Lester all of Hugo.
Sherman was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Campbell, his sisters, Eunice Merryman and Elsie Middleton, and is survived by sisters, Edith Beckman of Las Vegas, Nev. and Eva Graham of Austin, Texas. Also surviving are a sister, Jean Knox and her husband, Joe Knox of Roland, Oklahoma and a sister, Margaret Cowley and her husband, Mack Cowley of Anna, Texas.
Sherman was a building contractor in this county for many years and retired in 1985.
Services were under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey of Hugo, and were held at First Christian Church in Hugo, Oklahoma on Friday, September 9, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.
