Dorothy M. Carter

Funeral services for Dorothy M. Carter of Wright City will be held at noon Wednesday at Wright City High School Auditorium, with Rev. Burnis Burrell, Jr., officiating. Interment was in Joe Slater Cemetery in Wright City.

Mrs. Carter died October 2, 2005, at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. She was 75. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

Surviving relatives: Three sons, Danny Carter and Johnny Carter of Wright City, Kenny Carter of Dallas, Texas; seven daughters, Linda Smith, Debie Cruthfield, Felisha Young all of Wright City, Veda Cruthfield of Millerton, Johnnie Mae Burrell, Lois Butler, Doris Jones all of Valliant; 84 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.

The body lay in state at the First Assembly of God Church from 9-11 a.m.
