Matthew Beau James

Graveside services for Matthew Beau James of Fort Towson were held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2005, at Hampton Chapel Cemetery in Spencerville with Rev. Richard Atzbach and Rev. Tony James officiating.

Mr. James died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, in Edmond. He was 28.

Matthew Beau James was born on July 28, 1977 in Talihina to Andrew J. and Donna (Bear) James, Jr. Matthew married Patricia Ann Miller on September 17, 1999 in Ada. He had lived in this area all of his life before he moved to Ada a few months ago. He was a member of the New Hope Lighthouse Church in Stratford and he will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom & Virginia C. (Tims) Ryan, Katherine Baker, Andrew J. James, Sr., Edgar & Pauline Myers.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann James of Ada; his mother Donna Myers of Ada; his father Andrew J. James, Jr., of Wilburton; two brothers, Pete Bear and Johnny L. Myers, Jr., both of Ada; two half brothers, Billy Gaither of Gowen and Ricky Gaither of Fort Worth, Texas; four step sisters, Tammy Camacho of Gowen, Cindy Neal and Rita Trowbridge, both of Fort Worth, Texas, and Debbie Gaither of Choctaw County.

Before the service, Matthew James had lain in state at the family home of Toni Ryan in Fort Towson.
