Peter “Pete” James Lester

Graveside services for Peter “Pete” James Lester of Soper were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2005, in Goodland Cemetery, Goodland, Okla., with Bro. David Jackson officiating.

Mr. Lester died September 11, 2005, at his home. He was 28.Pete was born April 27, 1977 in Detroit, Mich., the son of Robert B. and Evia J. (Stanfield) Lester. He had lived in the Soper area most of his life. He liked all kinds of music, loved hunting and fishing and living in the woods. He could figure out how to “get by” with just about anything. He was a pure “redneck cowboy”. He was preceded in death by his grandparents R.B. and Catherine Lester, and Lewis Robinson.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: one daughter; McKayla Breann Spencer of Broken Bow, his parents; Robert and Evia Lester of Hugo, one brother; Joseph Stuart of Texarkana, Texas, two sisters; Melissa Marie Guthrie of Hugo, and Ida Lisa Lester of Hugo, several nieces and nephews along with other family and friends.
