Funeral services for Paula Jean Morris, 58, of Fort Towson, are pending with Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home. Mrs. Morris died Tuesday, September 27, 2005, in Fort Towson.

Graveside services for Paula Jean Morris of Fort Towson, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2005, at Moran Cemetery in Valliant with Rev. Troy Ruffin officiating. Mrs. Morris died Tuesday, September 27, 2005, in Fort Towson. She was 58.
Paula Jean Morris was born on June 10, 1947 in Okmulgee to Daniel E. and Pauline (Moore) Bennett. She married Jim Morris in October of 1990 in Paris, Texas. She had lived in this area for the past 15 years after moving here from Lafayette, La. She was a homemaker and worked as a nurses aid at the Golden Age Home in Hugo. She will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Bennett in 2000.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Morris of the home; her mother Pauline Blake of Valliant; two brothers, Daniel Bennett, Jr., of Edmond and Michael O. Bennett of Okmulgee; one sister, Brenda Edwards of Muskogee; several nieces and nephews and a great-great-nephew.
The family received friends Thursday, September 29, 2005 from 6-7 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.
