Funeral services for Murrell Sheets, 71, of Boswell, are pending with Miller & Miller Funeral Home of Boswell. Mr. Sheets died September 11, 2005, in Durant.

Funeral services for Murrell Janette Sheets of Boswell will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2005, at First Baptist Church in Boswell with Rev. Bill Spradlin officiating, assisted by Bro. Mutt Wallace. Interment will be in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.

Mrs. Sheets died September 11, 2005, in Durant. She was 71. She was a homemaker and was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Boswell.

Mrs. Sheets was born June 3, 1934 in Arkadelphia, Ark., the daughter of Hiram Levi and Altha Eleanor (Jones) Spurlin. She had lived in Boswell for the past 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, two sisters, a brother, a daughter, and a granddaughter.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: three daughters; Mary Daniel of Boswell, Patricia Logan of New York, and Sharon Stetler of Pennsylvania, one sister; Thelma Smith of Hot Springs, Ark., one brother; H.L. Spurlin of Oak Island, N.C. 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews along with other family and friends.

Family will receive friends in the funeral home Wednesday September 14, 2005 from 5-7 p.m.
