Minnie Shufeldt

Funeral services for Minnie Shufeldt of Fort Towson were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2005, at Fort Towson First United Methodist Church with Reverend Oscar Wilkie officiating. Interment was in Fort Towson Cemetery.
Mrs. Shufeldt died Tuesday, October 4, 2005, in Paris, Texas. She was 90.
Minnie Pauline Shufeldt was born on March 9, 1915 in Springfield, Mo., to George and Ella (Paulsen) Wampler. She married Adolph Shufeldt on August 5, 1933 in Kansas City, Mo. She had lived in this area for the past 38 years after moving here from Rosamond, Calif. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fort Towson United Methodist Church in Fort Towson, Okla. She will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Adolph on December 4, 1987, one brother and one sister.
Minnie is survived by five sons, Rudy Shufeldt and wife Pat, Bob Shufeldt, Bill Shufeldt and wife Susan, Mark Shufeldt and wife Mary, all of Fort Towson, Okla., and Steve Shufeldt and wife Kathy of Powderly, Texas; two daughters, Shirley Adam of Rosamond, Calif., and Judy Shrewsbury of Fort Towson, Okla.; nineteen grandchildren, Linda Milburn, Sheri Brown, Kristi Tweedt, Rudy L. Shufeldt, Leslie Wright, Joseph Shrewsbury, Janice Byrd, Jean Williams, Lindy Bauer, Billy Joe Shufeldt, Kelly Sutter, Jonathan Shufeldt, Trevor Shufeldt, Scott Shufeldt, Dawn West, Stephanie Lindly, Michael Shufeldt, Clay Shufeldt and Kevin Shufeldt; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fort Towson United Methodist Church in Fort Towson, Okla., or the Fort Towson Cemetery in Fort Towson, Okla.
