     Graveside services for Anna Belle May of Hugo were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.
     Mrs. May died Sunday, September 12, 2004, at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. She was 95.
     Anna Belle May was born November 6, 1908 in Soper, Oklahoma, the daughter of George & Sally (Stroud) Holder. She lived most of her life around Hugo and the Soper community. She worked as a pastry maker in California for a few years and worked at the Golden Age Home for six years. She married Barney Lee May on March 28, 1928 in Soper, Oklahoma, and he preceded her in death in 1976. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
     Surviving relatives: Son, Robert "Bob" May of Paris, Texas; one grandson, Barney May of Hugo; one great-granddaughter, Barbara Ann May of Hugo.
