Mrs. Guy McLarity Dies in Hospital
Services To Be Sunday Afternoon
The Hugo Daily News October 29, 1939 – transcribed by Ron Henson

     Mrs. Guy McLarity died early Friday night in the Sanitarium of Paris where she had been undergoing treatment for several days. She was 35 years old and a native of Texas.

     Funeral services will be held Sunday in the Clayton Avenue Baptist church under the direction of the Snow Funeral home. The hour for the service had not been set Saturday. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.

     Surviving are the husband, Guy McLarity; one daughter Cora Ann McLarity; three sisters, Mrs. James Winfred and Mrs. Trent McFerrin, both of Hugo, and Mrs. Jim Croy Bates, Cooper, Texas; and three brothers, Jim Holt of Grant, Bill and Miller Holt, both of Hugo.

     Bearers will be Lloyd McDonald, Morrison Smith, A.O. Tramell, Amber Chambliss, Merle Holton and Ray Bohanon.
