Herbert Watson Dies at Home Here
Funeral Services Friday Afternoon

Herbert Watson, 38 years old, died at the home of his father, M.S. Watson, 312 East Jefferson street, at 1:15 this afternoon, following an illness of three months. He was returned here from the Sanitarium at Talihina two weeks ago after physicians had given up any hope of saving his life. He had been undergoing treatment for tuberculosis.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence at 2:30 p.m. Friday under the direction of the Campbell funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.
Surviving in addition to his father is one sister, Mrs. Bill Whitlow of Hugo.

Funeral services for Herbert Watson were conducted by the Rev. J.W. Mayne, pastor of the First Methodist Church, this afternoon at the family residence on East Jefferson street. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Funeral home.
Watson died Thursday afternoon following an illness of more than three months. He was 38 years old.
Bearers were: Robert Lee Houser, Smith Luton Jr., Gene Knox, Kenneth Horton, Marion Jones, and S.M. Kizzire.
Honorary: H. Hulquist, James L. Admire, Houston Colvin, W.S. Horton, Ben Jones, W.E. Schooler, Dave Glenn.
He is survived by his father, Marion Watson and one sister, Mrs. Bill Whitlow of Hugo.
