Former Fort Towson Man Dies in Ada
C.T. Wilburn Was Early Day Cattleman

ADA – Death of Charles T. Wilburn took another of pioneers of Pontotoc county, where he had lived since 1908 [?].
He was born in Holmes county, Mississippi, in 1849, coming to Indian Territory when he was a boy.
He was married to Martha Ann LeFlore at Ft. Smith, Ark., 63 years ago.
After living at Ft. Towson, he moved to Poteau and it was there that he went into the livestock business.
He is survived by three daughters, Dr. Blanch Brashears, Mrs. Sadye Dowd and Mrs. Anne Dodd, and two sons, Charles S. Wilburn and Harry Wilburn.
