James Taylor

     Graveside services for James Taylor of Sherman, Texas, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2004, in Grant Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Arnold officiating.
     Mr. Taylor died September 17, 2004, at his home. He was 44. He was a truck driver and was of the Pentecostal faith.
     He was born June 20, 1960 in Hugo, the son of Buford Ray Taylor and Ruth Ann (Allen) Taylor and had lived for the past 12 years in Sherman, Texas. He married Karen Dailey on March 18, 1978 in Durant. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Allen Taylor and Gary Wayne Taylor.
     Surviving relatives: His wife, Karen Taylor; one son, Michael Glenn Taylor of Sherman, Texas; two daughters, Rachel Taylor and Jennifer Taylor of Sherman, Texas; six sisters, Martha Smith of Hugo, Helen Boling of Durant, Patricia Farris of Kenefic, Janet Sheffield of Durant, Linda Burchfield of Sawyer, and Brenda Taylor of Sherman, Texas; four brothers, David Taylor of Wylie, Texas, Darrel Taylor of Durant, Paul Taylor of Hugo, and Don Taylor of Hochatown; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Allen of Hugo.
