Lois Julian

Funeral services for Lois Julian of Ardmore, formerly of Valliant, were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at First Methodist Church - Valliant, with Pastor Dan Fletcher officiating. Interment was in Valliant Cemetery - Valliant, Okla.
Mrs. Julian died September 3, 2005, at Elmbrook Nursing Home in Ardmore. She was 89. She was a homemaker and member of First Methodist Church of Valliant.
Mrs. Julian was born May 10, 1916 in Ringold, Okla., the daughter of Albert Wheeler and Effie (Collins) Wheeler and had lived most of her life in the Valliant area. She enjoyed taking care of her family, was a good cook, a wonderful mom, and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Julian on November 11, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Addie Mahon and three brothers, Odis Wheeler, Vernon Wheeler and Raphael Wheeler.
SURVIVING RELATIVES: one son: Harold Julian of Ardmore; three daughters: Jackie Plunkett of Texarkana, Texas, Peggy Terry of Valliant and Beverly Fennell of Howe, Okla.; one sister: Nettie Slaton of Valliant; one brother: Palmer Wheeler of Choctaw, Okla.; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
