Theodore “Ted” Myers

Funeral services for Theodore “Ted” Myers of Rowlett, Texas, were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2005, at Wesley Methodist Church in Hugo with Rev. Oscar Wilkie officiating. Interment was in Springs Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Myers died August 25, 2005, at Dallas VA Hospital. He was 85. He served in the Army Air Corps as a Liaison Pilot flying in Germany and France. After the war he flew commercially for an oil company in Aruba. After that, and for the rest of his work career, he was an Insurance Salesman and a very good one. He was a member of Wesley Methodist Church.

Ted was born July 2, 1920 in Galena, Kan., the son of Henry M. and Goldie E.(Fannin) Myers. He married Margie L. Tiller October 15, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nev. They lived in Paris, Texas for six years then moved to Rowlett, Texas.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: His wife, Margie (Tiller) Myers of Rowlett, Texas; two sons; Kenneth A Myers of Las Vegas, N.M., Ted Hunter and his wife, Sharon of Oak Ridge, Tenn., one daughter; Marcia Felts and her husband Stanley of Rowlett, Texas, three sisters; Delores Smith, Nadine Topping both of Galena, Kan. and Margie Boulware of Web City, Mo., one brother; Kenneth Myers of Galena, Kan., numerous grandchildren along with other relatives and friends.

The family received friends August 27, 2005 at the funeral home.
