Accidental Gunshot Kills Boswell Woman

Mrs. Douglas Dees, aged 34 years, of the Crowder Springs community, South of Boswell, died Sunday afternoon at the Sanitarium of Paris, of an accidental gunshot wound in the abdomen, Friday afternoon in the home. According to reports, her brother-in-law, M.D. Dees, was cleaning a 22 rifle, when the accident occurred.

Burial was in Crowder Springs Cemetery Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Dees, formerly Miss Zella Lee Weeks, was born in Springfield, Mo., Feb. 3, 1911. Surviving are her husband; two children, [unreadable]; her mother [unreadable] Damron of Liberty, Texas; a brother and four sisters, Clarence Edwards Weeks, Mrs. Effie Wright and Mrs. Leatrice Frazier of Lib[remaining missing]
