Floyd G. Drumwright

Drumwright Services Held Yesterday
The Soper Democrat – January 9, 1936
Transcribed by Ron Henson

Funeral services for Floyd G. Drumwright, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.C. Drumwright, who died in a Riverside, Calif., hospital on Dec. 29th, were held at the Soper Methodist church yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. J.T. Bolding, Baptist pastor. Burial was in the Walker family cemetery east of Soper.

Originally the services were planned for last Friday afternoon but due to a misunderstanding the body did not arrive until Monday afternoon.

Floyd was born and reared near Soper, and went to California last fall to enter an Indian school. Cause of his death was due to an acute attack of appendicitis for which he underwent an operation.

He is survived by his parents and one brother, Harry, whose home is in California.
