Jesse Gooding, Grant Buried Today

J.B. (Jesse) Gooding, aged 51 years, prominent farmer of Grant, died at a hospital in Paris Tuesday evening, of heart trouble.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Grant Methodist church, conducted by Rev. W.E. McCartney, with burial in the Grant Cemetery.

Mr. Gooding is survived by his wife and five children; one sister, and four brothers.

He was born at Grant and had lived all his life there.
