     Services for Kate Sales were held Monday, Jan. 26, 2004 at 10 a.m. in the Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, Okla.
     Ms. Sales died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004  in Hugo. She was 90.
     Kate was born Feb. 4, 1913 in Cliff, Okla., the daughter of Willie Harvey Watterson and Sula Katherine (Kelley) Watterson and had lived in the Fort Towson area since 1930. She was a member of the Sawyer Baptist Church.
     Kate was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ira Lee Sales; one son, Osker Lee Sales; one brother, Avil Watterson, and three sisters: Myrtle McCuan, Bee Wheeler and Dovie Jones.
     Surviving relatives include two sons: Billy Burris and his wife Jane of Sawyer and Ray Loyd Sales and his wife Janet, of Crockett, Texas; two daughters: Irene Bradley of Hugo, Ruth Wallace and her husband Bro. Mutt Wallace of Hugo; 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren.
     Officiating the service was Bro. Mutt Wallace. Burial followed in the Fort Towson Cemetery under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home of Hugo.
