J. M. Morris, who lived two and a half miles southwest of the city, died last Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock after a lingering illness of Bright's disease. He was 58 years old age and unmarried. He had been a resident of this section of the state for a long time, and was quite well known throughout the country. The funeral and burial took place at the Spring Chapel Friday.
