FUNERAL HELD FOR RAYMOND ELLIS WED.
Prominent Hugo Youth Died At Hospital Last Night

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at the First Methodist church for Raymond Ellis, who died at the Doctor's hospital at about 9 o'clock last night.
Reverend Ernest Hicks, pastor of the church read the service, following which the body was taken overland to Soper where interment took place in the Soper cemetery.
The deceased died from a ruptured appendix and from pneumonia which followed. He was ill about ten days before his death.
Members of the Junior class of the Hugo high school of which he was a member acted as pall bearers. They were Carl Sherman, Cody Ray, V.H. Weldon, Otis Henry Jr., Lecil Ford and R.J. Burris.
Immediate survivors are Lon Ellis, deputy sheriff, father, and three brothers, Hal, Ralph and Richard.
Snow funeral home had charge of funeral arrangements.
