Funeral services for Jessie Gooding of Hugo will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2005, at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kay Buchanan officiating. Interment will be in Grant Cemetery in Grant.

Mrs. Gooding died June 12, 2005, in Dallas, Texas. She was 84.She was born March 21, 1921 to Jessie and Ora (Smith) Nelms. Jessie married Odis Gooding in Grant. Jessie worked as a beautician and a rancher. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Odis Gooding and one brother, Wendell Nelms.

She is survived by two sisters, Verna Kelly of Hugo and Ramona Stillwell of Soper; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 16, 2005, from 5-6 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.
