Harilee Holiday

Funeral services for Harilee Holiday of Hugo will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the South Central District Building in Hugo with Rev. Roylia Akins officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Holiday died June 10, 2005, at Debuis Hospital in Paris, Texas. He was 86. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving relatives: Wife, Ruthie Mae Holiday of Hugo; three sons, Karey Lee Holiday, Edgar Holiday and Billy Ray Holiday, all of Hugo; five daughters, Gertha Mae Horn of Lufkin, Texas, Linda Buckner of Austin, Texas, Verleda Christian and Demetria McLean of Rowlett, Texas, Cathy Akins of Hugo; two sisters, Marie Woods of Midland, Texas, Margarett Scramble of Norman; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
