Delbert H. Lemmond

Funeral services for Delbert H. Lemmond of Hugo were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Clayton Avenue Baptist Church in Hugo with Reverend Gene Witt officiating. Interment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.

Mr. Lemmond died Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Paris, Texas. He was 68.

Delbert Howard Lemmond was born on June 30, 1936 in Hugo, Okla., to Roy Gus and Bessie (Winn) Lemmond. Delbert married Nancy Ann Blain in Borger, Texas, on May 10, 1958. He worked as a produce wholesaler in Hugo at Lemmond’s Wholesale. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Douglas, Joe and J.C. Lemmond. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife Nancy; one son, Dale Lemmond and his wife Donna of Owasso, Okla.; one daughter, Kay and Benny Haggard of Paris, Texas; one brother, R.G. Lemmond; two sisters, Nadine Irwin of Blue Springs, Mo. and Mary Lou Spear of Hugo, Okla.; six grandchildren, Matt, Rachel and Erin Lemmond of Owasso, Okla., and Stephanie, Sara and Bryan Haggard, all of Paris, Texas.

The family received friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at the funeral home chapel.
