Funeral services for Aileen W. McKenzie of Hugo were held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2005, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, with Rev. Doug McClire [sic] officiating.
Mrs. McKenzie died June 16, 2005 in Hugo. She was 92.Aileen W. McKenzie was born on February 2, 1913 in Goodland to Leta E. Thorpe and Joseph Alfred Crews. She was a member of the Hugo First Baptist Church and a member of the VFW and American Legion. She had lived in this area for 20 years after moving here from Dallas. She worked as a cake decorater [sic] for a bakery. Aileen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by two husbands, Frank Tucker and Leonard McKenzie; her parents and two brothers, A.V. Crews and Cecil Thompson.
She is survived by two brothers, Elmer D. Crews of Hugo and Oliver Joseph Crews of Dallas.
