Funeral services for Evelyn Pierce of Boswell will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Victory Life Church in Boswell with Reverend Jan Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.

Mrs. Pierce died June 20, 2005 in Durant. She was 83.Evelyn was born on April 10, 1922 in Jackson, Okla., to Henry Charles and Annie (Williams) Clark. She married Leroy Pierce on October 16, 1939 in Boswell. She was a homemaker and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Annie Clark; her husband, Leroy Pierce; four brothers, Johnny Clark, Walter Clark, Wesley Clark and Rosco Clark. Evelyn is survived by five sons, Edward Pierce and wife Norla of Bokoshe, Sam Pierce and wife Christy, Charles Pierce and wife Jeanie, Tony Pierce and wife Lisa, and Robert Pierce and wife Jeania, all of Boswell; three daughters, Betty Winters and husband Clinton of Sumner, Texas, Shirley Miller and husband Larry of Boswell, and Rhonda Moore and husband Mike of Paris, Texas; 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.
