    Funeral services for Deavy Wayne Braxton of Dumas, Texas, formerly of Idabel, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Community Faith Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. David Hooks officiating. Burial was in Williamson Cemetery.

    Mr. Braxton died May 19, 2005, in Amarillo, Texas. He was 48.Surviving relatives: Wife, Joanne Braxton of Dumas, Texas; two sons, Deavy Braxton, Jr. of Dumas, Texas, Cody Braxton of Oklahoma City; three step-sons, Vidal, Jeremy and Ramon Vega all of Dumas, Texas; four daughters, Tanya Braxton of Arkansas, Rolonda Braxton of Ardmore, Tiffany Braxton of Amarillo, Texas, Natassja Braxton of Dumas, Texas; father and mother, Roger & Pearlie Braxton of Oklahoma City; five brothers, Roger ,Braxton, Jr. and Johnny Braxton of Oklahoma City, Roger Earl Braxton of Los Angeles, Walter Braxton of Sacramento, Calif., John Braxton of Amarillo, Texas; five sisters, Linda Merritt and Brenda Jones of San Antonio, Texas, Cynthia Tinnell, Veda Stevenson and Bridgett Gordon, all of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
