Gertrude Frierson

    Funeral services for Gertrude Frierson of Hugo were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Cleo Benson officiating. Interment was in Crosley Cemetery.

    Mrs. Frierson died May 12, 2005, in Oklahoma City. She was 90. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

    Surviving relatives: three sons, Billy Joe Thomas of Long Beach, Calif., Frederick Frierson of Tulsa, Richard Frierson of Los Angeles; three daughters, Trudy Ann Stewart and Nellie Woodard of Hugo, Patsy DeLoney of Yukon; one brother, Spurgeon Lee of Hugo; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
