    Funeral services for Aline Roberts of Ringold were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005, in Pine Belt Church with Pastor Ramona Babcock officiating. Interment was in Old Ringold Cemetery.
    Mrs. Roberts died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at Choctaw Nation Hospital in Talihina. She was 71.Aline Roberts was born November 6, 1933 in Summerfield, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edward Cecil Jernigan and Ruth (Gibson) Carlton. She worked a short time for a cannery in California before moving to this area. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years: Benny Woodman in 1978. She married Chuck Roberts on July 8, 1984 in Reno, Nevada. They made their home in the Ringold Community until his recent death on February 1, 2005. Aline didn't like to stay home; her joy was yard sales, flea markets, fishing, and Shreveport. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Joy Derby on August 15, 2003; an infant son, Benny Woodman; an infant grandson; and one granddaughter, Jenny.
    Surviving relatives: Sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Tabatha Woodman of Ringold, Richard and Ufemia Woodman of California, Douglas Woodman of California, Mark and Joyce "CoCo" Woodman of California; step-son, Charles Roberts of Atoka; step-daughters, Linda Roberts of Ringold and Cheryl Morin of California; twin sister, Pauline Colm of Poteau; brother, Dean Jernigan of California; step-brothers, Larry Carlton of Arkansas and Michael Carlton of California; step-sisters, Phyllis Schwerdtfeger of California and Drenda Tokey of California; aunt, Leon Sitton of Summerfield; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren.
