Lynn Edward Houston

    Funeral services for Lynn Houston of Moyers will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hugo with Reverend Mike Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo.
    Mr. Houston died Monday, March 7, 2005, at Kiamichi Wilderness. He was 54.Lynn Edward Houston was born on March 29, 1950 in Antlers to Charlie Edward and Johnnie Odell (Knutson) Brines Houston. Lynn had lived in this area most of his life and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Antlers. He graduated from Rattan High School and then went to Okmulgee Tech for automotive and Kiamichi Vo-Tech for EMT training. He had worked for the Hugo Fire Department, where he retired as a firefighter. He is preceded in death by his father Charlie Houston and his mother Odell Brines.
    Lynn is survived by one son, Chris Houston of Hugo and fiancé Katy Davis; four daughters, Lynetta Houston of Hugo, Ladonna Houston of Hugo and fiancé Charlie Hinson, Codi Hunt of Phoenix, Ariz., and husband Justin, and Dakota Howze of Antlers. Lynn will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
    The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 9, 2005, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo.
