Lillian Mary Harrison

    Funeral services for Lillian Mary Harrison of Richardson, Texas, were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005, at First United Methodist Church in Boswell with Reverend Juanita Fletcher officiating. Interment was in Restland Cemetery in Boswell.

    Mrs. Harrison, who lived most of her life in Boswell, died May 2, 2005, in Richardson, Texas. She was 90.Lillian Harrison was born near Blue, Oklahoma to Mary A. and Henry H. Anderson and grew up in the Belvin community south of Boswell. She attended Boswell schools and Southeastern Oklahoma State Normal School (now SOSU) in Durant. Through the mid 1930s she taught in country school in western Choctaw County and later substituted regularly in the Boswell schools. In 1937 she married William H. (Pete) Harrison who preceded her in death in 1997. They lived all of their married life and raised their family in Boswell. She was a lifetime member of the Boswell United Methodist Church, a member of the Rebecca Lodge and of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her son Donald Harrison and wife Judy of Gilbert, Arizona, daughter Mary Bolt and husband Brian of Dallas, and son Jerry Harrison of Dallas; six grandchildren, Janna Harrison Jones and family of Phoenix, Jeffery Harrison and family of Phoenix, Michael Williford and family of Phoenix, Thomas Williford of Phoenix, David Lacerda and family of Reno, Nev., and Jennifer Lacerda of Longmont, Colo.; and eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

    In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremy Harrison, brothers Leland Anderson and L.B. Anderson and sisters Doris Carroll, Royce Patterson, Helen Baker.

    Services were held at the Boswell United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2005.Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home - Hugo.
