    Funeral services for Erna Louise Combs of Grant were held at 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2005, at First Assembly of God Church in Detroit, Texas, with her daughter, Vivian Rodriguez, officiating.

    Mrs. Combs died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at her home in Grant. She was 46.Erna Louise Combs was born January 19, 1959 in Denison, Texas, the daughter of Ernest & Eva Louise (Lewellen) Combs. She earned a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice, loved working with horses, and had worked security at the new Choctaw Casino in Grant for the past several months. She served in the U.S. Army for six years. She was preceded in death by her father.

    Surviving relatives: Daughter, Vivian Rodriguez of Detroit, Texas; mother, Eva Louise Combs of Detroit, Texas; brother, Tommy Combs of Denison, Texas.
