Funeral services for Vlema Ella Fergueson of Boswell will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at Hall Freewill Baptist Church in the Hall Community, with Reverend Allen Moore officiating, assisted by Ancil Simmons. Interment will follow in Hall Cemetery in the Hall Community, Pushmataha County, Okla.

Mrs. Fergueson died Monday, May 2, 2005, in Boswell. She was 86.Velma Ella Fergueson was born on February 15, 1919 in Madison, Texas, to James Arthur and Rosa Ella (Mosley) Ford. She married James Anderson Fergueson on December 28, 1940 in Stephenville, Texas. She had lived in this area for the past 43 years, moving here from Ivanhoe, Texas. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in the Hall Community in Pushmataha County. She was a minister's wife and supported him in his ministry. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm and it was always first. She gathered the eggs, milked and fed the cows. Velma enjoyed quilting and gardening, cooking and cleaning for her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Earl, Olie and Roy Ford; a sister, Thelma Noah.

She is survived by her husband, James Anderson Fergueson; three sons, Boyce Ralph Fergueson, Jimmy George Fergueson and Coy Milton Fergueson, all of Boswell; two daughters-in-law, Wlaine Fergueson and Gracie Fergueson, both of Boswell; one brother, Truett Ford of Hurst, Texas; seven grandchildren, Tonya Lee Fergueson, Amy Suzanne Fergueson, Shawn Danelle Fergueson, Adam George Fergueson, Carol Kristy Fergueson, Angela Dawn Fergueson and Destiny Ann Fergueson; and two great grandchildren, Chandler JayLee Fernandez and Parker Ross Fernandez.

The family will meet at the church on the day of service for lunch.
