Stephen Halbert

Funeral services for Stephen Halbert were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Bill Darrough Pavilion in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Tim MacEntire officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Halbert died Friday, April 22, 2005 in Wythville, Va. He was 48.Stephen Nicholas Halbert was born on January 5, 1962 in Ravensburg, Germany, to Lt. Col. John G. and Margaret Halbert. He had worked as an elephant trainer for 13 years and worked for the Troy Holland Truck Driving Company. His dog, Camarrd and truck driving were his favorite pasttimes. He was preceded in death by his father, Lt. Col. John G. Halbert. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Halbert of Deatsville, Ala.; two brothers, Chris Halbert of Deatsville, Ala., and Eric Halbert of Birmingham, Ala.
