Betty June Duncan

Services for Betty June Duncan, of Belgrade, Mont., were at 2 p.m., Jan. 31, 2003 at the First Assembly of God Church in Broken Bow. The Rev. Glen Binion and the Rev. LaRoi Woods officiated. Interment followed at the Broken Bow Cemetery.
Betty June, formerly of Broken Bow, died Jan 26, 2003 in Montana. She was 72.
Betty June was born June 20, 1930 in Stratford, Okla. She had lived in Broken Bow prior to moving to Belgrade, Mont., two years ago.
Betty and her husband, Jack, had owned and operated small grocery stores in Hugo and Antlers during the 1950s and 1960s until illness forced their retirement, when they moved to Broken Bow.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Duncan, her parents and two brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory three sons and daughters-in-law: Carl Ray and Valerie Duncan, of Antlers, Okla., Jack C. Jr. and Nancy Duncan of Broken Bow, Okla., and Henry Doyle and Amy Duncan, of Direct, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law: Beverly and Perry Gayler, Broken Bow, Okla., Billie and Ronnie Monroe, of Antlers, Okla., and Kathy and Tommy Fitch of Belgrade, Mont.; two brothers: James Goodwin of Mead, Okla., and Lindy J. Goodwin of Byng, Okla.; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The Brumley-McCurtain Funeral Home in Broken Bow is handling the funeral arrangements.
