JOHN HOWARD GOLDEN

Former Hugo resident John Howard Golden passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003 in Atlanta, Ga. He was 58.
John Howard was born May 20, 1944 in Hugo, Okla., the son of C.C. and Mary (Ellis) Golden. He was raised in Hugo and after high school served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked as a floral designer in Atlanta, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruth Arnell, and one brother, James Edward Golden.
Surviving relatives include two sisters, Wanda Stevenson of Hugo and Gwen Bourns of Edmond, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Mt. Olive Funeral Home in Hugo is handling the arrangements.
