Services for Benjamin Wayne Morris were held Monday, Feb. 24, 2003 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Hugo.

Bennie died Feb. 22, 2003 near Moyers, Okla. He was 39.

Bennie Morris was born Aug. 20, 1963 in Antlers, Okla., to Bennie and Gladys (Simpson) Morris. He was a graduate of Clayton High School and had served in the U.S. Army. He was also a graduate of Eastern Oklahoma State College at Wilburton. Bennie married Rhonda Gray on Nov. 20, 1993 in Hugo. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lillie Morris. Bennie is survived by his wife, Rhonda Morris of Hugo; two sons: Cody Gray Morris and Matt Gray Morris of Hugo; three daughters: Tamara Gray Morris of Hugo, Angel Marsh of Tulsa and Rachel Morris of Oklahoma City, Okla.; his father, Bennie Morris of Clayton; his mother, Gladys Morris of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three brothers: Shane Morris, Darrin Morris and Farrell Morris all of Clayton; one sister, Gwen Williamson of Clayton and one grandchild.

Rev. Doug McClure officiated the service and burial followed in A.L. Stephens Cemetery, Clayton under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo.
