Services for James O. Parnell were at 4 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Christ United Methodist Church in Fort Collins, Colo.

Internment will be conducted as a private family ceremony Sept. 25.

James O. Parnell of Fort Collins, Colo. died at his home in Fort Collins Sept. 19, 2002. He was 63.

James was born on March 19, 1939 in Hugo, to (James) Robert and Hazel May (Norwood) Parnell.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Parnell and his first wife Nerena Janette (Thomas) Parnell.

James is survived by his mother, Hazel May (Norwood) Parnell of Hugo, wife Janet Ann (Folta) Parnell of Fort Collins, Colo., two daughters; Jana Archuleta and Erin Dwyer of Portland, Oregon, one brother, Lynn Parnell Hugo, four stepchildren; Debbie Tamez of Greeley, Colo., Dean Jensen of Fort Morgan, Colo., Sean Jensen of Fort Collins, Colo. and Julie Jensen of Aurora, Colo., many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
