Mable Lee (Sisco) Sturgeon

Services for Mable Lee Sturgeon were at 10 a.m. Sept. 16 at the Assembly of God in Hugo. The Rev. Raymond Humphrey officiated. Internment followed at Goodland Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller & Miller Chapel in Hugo.

Mable Lee Sturgeon died Sept. 15, 2002 in Hugo. She was 82.

Mable Lee Sturgeon was born Nov. 9, 1919 in Gay to John and Rosie Sisco.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sons and one daughter.

She is survived by three sons; Arvel Davis of Hugo, Richard Burton of Peterburg, Va. and Merle Buton of Midlothian, Texas, three daughters; Betty Nichols and Lois Lofton of Hugo and Agnes Ketcherside of Russelville, Ark., one brother; Lovel Sisco of Atlanta, Texas, and three sisters; Angie and Dorothy Davidson of Hugo and Lilly Morris of Hubbard, Texas.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.
