NATHAN “WOODSY” WILSON

Services for Nathan Wilson were held Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003 at 2 p.m. in the Rufe Baptist Church.
Wilson died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003 in Wadley Regional Hospital, Texarkana. He was 60.
“Woodsy” Wilson was born Oct. 10, 1942 in Ringold, Okla., the son of Alexander and Roda “Jefferson” Wilson. He had lived in the Ringold area all his life, worked as a brick mason, and has served in the U.S. Army as an airborne parachuter. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Alexander and Roy Wilson.
Surviving relatives include two brothers: Carlo Wilson of Valliant and Johnny Wilson, Ringold, Okla.; three sisters: Theresa Wilson of California, Cora Faye Khort of Alaska and Ruby Jean White, of Montana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Rev. Troy Ruffin officiated and burial followed in the Wilson Chapel Cemetery.
Mt. Olive Funeral Home of Hugo is directing the services.
