Inez Dennis

     Funeral services for Inez Dennis of Soper were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Soper with Bro. Greg Hammack officiating, assisted by Bro. Blake Gideon. Interment was in Soper Cemetery in Soper, Okla.
     Pallbearers were her grandsons, Barry Dennis, Harvey Dennis, Jordan Dennis, and Troy Broadrick. Two places remained vacant in memory of her two grandsons who passed before her, Tim Broadrick and Jerod Dennis. Honorary Pallbearers were Roe Dale Dennis, Jr., Gary Lee, Tommy Neffendorf, Kirk Fenner, Casey Dankers, Darrell Martin and Paul Cobb.
     Mrs. Dennis died July 14, 2004, at her home. She was 91. She worked many years at the Golden Age Home in Hugo. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Soper.
Willie Inez Dennis was born October 11, 1912 in Soper, Okla., the daughter of Will and Myrtle (Ervin) Page and had lived all of her life in the Soper area. She married Gatha Herman Dennis in 1932. He preceded her in death in 1976. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Louise Stephenson; three brothers, Dana Page, Lawrence Page and James Page; one granddaughter, Rena Dennis, and two grandsons, Tim Broadrick and Jerod Dennis; one great-granddaughter, Morgan Dennis.
     Surviving relatives: Three sons, Roe Dale Dennis and his wife, Sherry, Joe Bill Dennis and his wife, Pat, and Jerry Dennis, all of Soper; 18 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren. Also, a special friend, Emma Jordan of Boswell, Okla., along with many cousins, nephews, nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
