James Howard Gillham

     COLLEYVILLE, Texas - James Howard Gillham, 64, a retired Dallas firefighter, passed away Friday, July 16, 2004, in Bedford, Texas. 
     The funeral was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Colleyville, 5300 Colleyville Blvd. Burial was in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd.
     James Howard Gillham was born January 18, 1940 in Durant, Oklahoma. He worked as a firefighter in Dallas for 27 years. He was also a successful local contractor who is best known for his great devotion and generosity to family and friends.
     Survivors: Beloved wife, Linda; son, Michael and wife, Tammy; son, Mark and wife Valerie; daughter Melissa and husband Doug Elkins; brother Don and wife Patricia; sister, Melba Roan Gillham; sister Suzie and husband Quentin Thomas; brother Robert and wfe Carol; grandchildren Amber and Leslie Elkins, Katelyn and Bryan Gillham.
James will always be loved and remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
     Services under the direction of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, Colleyville, Texas.
