Edna L. (Gardner) Tidmore

     Funeral services for Edna L. (Gardner) Tidmore of Valliant were held at 10 a.m. July 24, 2004, at First Assembly of God Church in Wright City with Rev. Walter (Cotton) Tidmore and Rev. Scott Stuart officiating. Burial was in Valliant Cemetery.
     Mrs. Tidmore died July 21, 2004, at her home in Valliant. She was 76.
     She was born January 5, 1928 in Valliant to John and Lula Terry Turner. She grew up in the Valliant area and spent her adult life being a mother, grandmother, homemaker and caregiver. She was a Southern Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Noel Gardner.
     She is survived by her husband, Elvis of the home; two sons, John Gardner of Arlington, Texas, and Jim Gardner of Nashville, Tenn.; three daughters, Elaine Braswell of Marbury, Ala., Gail Gardner of Florida and Martha Winegart of Lindale, Texas; three brothers, James Turner of Tulsa, Charley Turner of Oklahoma City and Herbert Turner of Wichita Falls, Texas; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
     Services under the direction of Huckleberry Funeral Service, Valliant.
