Young Wife Passes Away Yesterday Morning
Mrs. Mabel Spring, the young wife of Joel Spring Jr, died yesterday morning at 3 o’clock at their home in the South-east part of the town. The cause of her death was congestion of the stomach, an attack of which followed the birth of a little daughter on the day previous.
The deceased was a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. I.H. Conrady of this city, she was nineteen years of age and had been married only about twelve months.
The funeral services were conducted at the family residence by Rev. J.R. Biard and concluded at the Spring Chapel cemetery yesterday afternoon in the presence of a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends.
The grief stricken husband has the sympathy of the entire town in this the hour of his sad bereavement.
