The Reaper is Busy in Hugo

Mrs. Kate Johnson, aged about 21 years, wife of Mr. Hoyt Johnson of the G.W. Johnson Dry Goods company, died at the home of her mother Mrs E.L. Mowery, in Paris, Texas, last Tuesday morning at 5:20. She had been ill about six weeks, having abscess of the right side, and had undergone two operations, but neither of them gave her relief and she died after terrible suffering. Besides her parents and husband two small children the youngest being a daughter only six weeks old. She was well known and beloved by a large circle of friends both in Hugo and Paris and these join in extending deepest sympathy to the bereaved one.
