James Ollie Dameron

    Graveside services for James Ollie Dameron of Hugo were held Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor David Swann officiating.
    Mr. Dameron died on January 22, 2005. He was 91.
    He was born August 15, 1913 to James Henry and Edna Marie Cash Dameron in Crosbyton, Texas. He married Alta Mae "Jackie" Hicks in Sudan, Texas. He moved to Clovis, N.M. in 1950 from House, N.M. He was Chief of Police in Clovis in the 1950's and was a farmer. He was a member of The Masonic Lodge and President of the Men's Bible Class.
    He is survived by two sons, Eddie James Dameron of Sawyer and Larry Don Dameron of Clovis, N.M.; three sisters; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and six sisters.
    Funeral arrangements under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, and Muffley Funeral Home in Clovis, N.M.
