A.R. Draper
The Hugo Husonian January 25, 1917
Transcribed by: JoLynn Self
A. R. Draper, the well known liveryman of Ft. Towson died last night at his home in Ft. Towson. Mr. Draper was driving from T. Towson to Rufe last week and in crossing a bridge his team became alarmed and backed off. Mr. Drapers right leg was broken and crushed. He was many hours before he could secure medical aid and his leg became rapidly worse. Also the shock of the injury tended to hasten death. Mr. Draper came from Arkansas seven years ago. He is survived by his wife and several children. The funeral will be held in Ft. Towson at four this afternoon and will be in charge of the Odd Fellows and the Woodmen. Burial will follow in the local Cemetery there.
