Lain Rites Held Today At Fort Towson
Fort Towson –Services for Jack Lain, 59, of Fort Towson, were today at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist church with Rev. J. B. Ingram officiating. Burial was in the Fort Towson Cemetery. Coffey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lain died Sunday night at Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 13, 1906, at Newport, Tenn., and had lived at Fort Towson 38 years. He was a World War II veteran. Survivors include two sons, J. C. and Buster, both of California; his mother, Mrs. Parthenia Lain of Fort Towson; two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Cody of Fort Towson and Mrs. Janie Holt of Newport, Tenn. and eight grandchildren.
