Floyd Ruffin Dies Monday; Rites Wednesday
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Coffey chapel for Floyd Ruffin, 60, of 1100 Cardinal Road, owner of the Hugo Convalescent Home. Rev. Milo Martin will officiate and burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. Mr. Ruffin, a Hugo resident all his life, died Monday at 5:15 p.m. at home after a long illness. Coffey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ruffin was born Sept. 14, 1905. Survivors include his wife, Mamie Ethel; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Gwendolyn Thomson and Mrs. Nancy Sue Harris, both of Hugo; two sons, Joe and Raymond, both of Oklahoma City; two brothers Clifton and Florren, both of Oklahoma City;-two sisters, Mrs. Odessa King of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Bobbie Jean Snow of Shawnee; and five grandchildren.
